Cincinnati Children’s Hospital

These pieces represent a commissioned project for Kolar Design & Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s. Ecology of a Dream, called for a woodland creature theme, conveying a sense of wonder, peace, and healing. I created the five works from March 2023-January 2024. As part of this project I met with patients and their families to add their unique touches to these pieces. It was an honor to create with them. Under the Surface, is a series of five pieces created between August 2024- January 2025, hosting a workshop with a team of hospital staff.

As we navigate our constantly shifting world, we may take solace in the purity of nature; a place of chaos and beauty. Just as in nature collage reminds us that each piece plays a role, connecting and growing to form something greater. Ecology of a Dream encourages viewers to indulge in the whimsical quality of dreams while embracing the intricacies of the natural world.
